A prominent individual in my life who consistently extends a helping hand is my friend, Linh. Despite being a fellow student, she displays an unwavering willingness to support those in need.

 

An illustrative instance of Linh's altruism is her active involvement in volunteering at a local orphanage. Devoting her time, she engages with the children through play, assists with their academic endeavors, and orchestrates various engaging activities.

 

In her pursuit to aid others, Linh has encountered obstacles, including limited resources and inadequate support. Nevertheless, she showcases remarkable ingenuity in surmounting these challenges. This involves innovative strategies such as orchestrating fundraisers and leveraging her network to secure donations and assistance.

 

My admiration for Linh's selflessness and unwavering commitment to aiding others is profound. She stands as an exemplar not only for me but for all, igniting a sense of purpose and compassion within. Her deeds motivate me to cultivate a more empathetic and charitable approach to my own life.

 

In conclusion, the act of assisting others ranks among the most rewarding and profound endeavors that humans can undertake. I consider myself fortunate to have Linh in my life—an embodiment of these values, consistently creating a positive impact on the world around her.

How can children help their parents at home?

Children can contribute to various kinds of household chores, depending on their age. For toddlers or preschoolers who are too young to do any heavy duties, parents can teach them to tidy up their toys after playing. Teenagers, on the other hand, are capable of performing many tasks like doing dishes, laundry, and so on. All these contributions will help these kids gain more life skills and develop an independent character.

 

Should children be taught to help others?

Without a doubt, learning to lend a hand to others whenever they can, plays a crucial role not only in that person's life but also for society in general. Nurturing acts of kindness lead to a supportive environment, benefiting anyone involved. And I also believe that you reap what you sow.

 

What makes children help each other at school?

Children who are fostered to have empathy and compassion, will easily assist or support their classmates when they encounter difficult situations at school. The environment has a great impact on children’s mindsets. If people around those kids usually help other people out, they will likely do the same thing. 

 

Should students do community service? Why?

Participating in community service allows students to interact with people from all walks of life, which not only shows you are a responsible citizen but also helps you develop positive traits such as integrity and generosity.

 

Do students in your country do volunteer work?

Yes, in many schools and universities in Vietnam, students join numerous student-led clubs that focus on many different volunteer activities, like environmental conservation and fundraisings for the underprivileged, which helps them gain valuable life experiences.

 

Why do some people do volunteer work all over the world?

Each individual has their own purposes, but I think most people want to join hands to create a better community. Other common reasons may be to broaden their horizons, get credits and skills which would be beneficial for their study or career pursuits.
