Topic: Describe an occasion when you met someone complaining about something in the public (in the restaurant or other place)

Let me tell you about this time, about 10 years ago I had taken my French friend and her family out to lunch in Vietnam, to a restaurant she'd been really excited to try. She ordered bún chả, a classic Vietnamese dish which was normally 20k at that time but the price in this place was 185k, far more expensive. Of course, we thought we paid for the service too, not just the food. But to our horror, we found a worm in the vegetables. It was shocking! My friend, understandably, was appalled. She screamed and immediately complained to the staff. Now, their explanation was that they're a big restaurant, using fresh produce without pesticides. Sure, that makes sense, but their response after that was absolutely unacceptable. They did nothing to rectify the situation. Not a new plate of vegetables, not even an apology.

So, my friend escalated the issue, demanding to speak to the manager. But even then, there was no resolution. No acknowledgment of the problem, no attempt to make it right. It was infuriating and disappointing, especially since this was supposed to be a special meal for her. The restaurant's complete disregard for customer service and their inability to properly handle the situation left us all angry and frustrated. It was a dining experience gone completely wrong.
