One place I've been to where there were a lot of people is Ben Thanh Market, located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. I visited the market with my family during a weekend trip to the city.

I was with my parents, my younger sister, and my aunt. It was a fun experience exploring the market together and seeing all the different goods that were being sold. The market was packed with people, both locals and tourists, all bustling around and bargaining for the best prices.

At the market, people were buying and selling a wide range of products, including fresh produce, clothing, souvenirs, and handicrafts. There were also food stalls and restaurants selling traditional Vietnamese dishes like pho, banh mi, and spring rolls.

The reason there were lots of people at Ben Thanh Market is because it is one of the largest and most famous markets in Vietnam. It has a long history dating back to the 17th century and is known for its wide variety of products and affordable prices. It is also conveniently located in the city center, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists.

I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of the market and the opportunity to mingle with people from different walks of life. It was also a chance to practice my bargaining skills and to sample some of the delicious street food that Vietnam is known for. Overall, visiting Ben Thanh Market was a memorable and enriching experience that gave me a glimpse into the bustling energy of city life in Vietnam.

Một nơi đông người tôi từng đến đó là chợ Bến Thành, nằm giữa trung tâm Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Tôi tới đây trong một chuyến du lịch với gia đình vào cuối tuần.

Tôi đi cùng với bố mẹ, em gái và cô tôi. Đó là một trải nghiệm thú vị khi được khám phá khu chợ cùng nhau và nhìn ngắm đủ mọi loại đồ được bày bán. Chợ rất đông người, dân địa phương và khách du lịch có cả, tất cả đều nhộn nhịp xung quanh và mặc cả để có được mức giá tốt nhất.

Tại chợ, mọi người mua bán nhiều loại sản phẩm, bao gồm nông sản tươi sống, quần áo, đồ lưu niệm và đồ thủ công. Ngoài ra còn có các quán ăn và nhà hàng bán các món ăn truyền thống của Việt Nam như phở, bánh mì và chả giò.

Sở dĩ có rất nhiều người đến chợ Bến Thành là vì đây là một trong những chợ lớn và nổi tiếng nhất Việt Nam. Nó có lịch sử lâu đời từ thế kỷ 17 và được biết đến với sự đa dạng về sản phẩm và giá cả phải chăng. Nó cũng nằm ở vị trí thuận tiện ở trung tâm thành phố, khiến nơi đây trở thành điểm đến phổ biến cho cả người dân địa phương và khách du lịch.

Tôi thích không khí sôi động của khu chợ và cơ hội được hòa nhập với những người thuộc các tầng lớp xã hội khác nhau. Đó cũng là cơ hội để tôi rèn luyện kỹ năng mặc cả và nếm thử một số món ăn đường phố ngon nổi tiếng của Việt Nam. Nhìn chung, tham quan chợ Bến Thành là một trải nghiệm đáng nhớ và phong phú, giúp tôi có cái nhìn thoáng qua về năng lượng nhộn nhịp của cuộc sống thành thị ở Việt Nam.

The VCCA, which is famous for its contemporary art exhibitions, is a popular destination among the youth residing in Hanoi.

Are people happy living in crowded apartments?

I would say no, many find living in cramped spaces uncomfortable, lacking privacy and not enough room to swing the cat. Just imagine a family of four living in a small two-bedroom apartment. The lack of space not only makes it challenging for each family member to have their own private area but also limits the storage space for their belongings.

Which scenic sports will have queues of people?

Actually, this isn’t something that I have ever thought of, but I assume that global events including major international tournaments like the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, and Wimbledon draw sports enthusiasts from around the world, resulting in high demand for tickets and substantial waiting times. For instance, during the FIFA World Cup, fans often queue for hours to secure their seats at the stadiums, eager to witness top-tier athletic performances and be part of the sporting spectacle.

What are the advantages of living on a high floor?

The merits are probably the fresh air and a bird's-eye view of the surrounding area. I live on the 34th floor in a high rise building, everyday I go to the balcony and enjoy the breathtaking sunset after a hectic working day. This can ease my mind and recharge my batteries. Furthermore, I notice that some insects like mosquitoes or other bugs are nowhere to be found if you live on the uppermost floor of the building .

What are the disadvantages of living on a lower floor?

Vice versa, living on a lower floor leads to a higher risk of encountering insects or pests. Many of my friends who reside near the ground floor complain about this issue a lot. Additionally, the residents may experience more noise and less natural light, which can affect the overall comfort and quality of life in the apartment.

What do you think of the phenomenon of people queuing in restaurants for more than an hour?

Well generally it’s my belief that the allure of delicious food makes it worth the waiting time. Additionally, the influence of social media platforms like TikTok and Facebook cannot be underestimated. When a particular restaurant or dish gains attention on these platforms, it tends to go viral, attracting a flood of customers. This sudden surge in popularity leads to overcrowding at these places, resulting in long queues.
