Did you have a favourite book when you were a child? Why/Why not?
Yes, I did have a favorite book when I was a child. It was called 'The Little Prince.' I loved the story because it was imaginative and heartwarming. The characters were so unique and relatable, and I really enjoyed learning about the prince's journey and his encounters with different people and creatures. I think this book helped me develop my love for reading and sparked my imagination.
How much reading do you do for your work/studies? Why/Why not?
As an English student, I do a lot of reading! It’s essential for improving my vocabulary, grammar, and overall language skills. I read a variety of materials, including textbooks, articles, novels, and short stories. I also enjoy reading English newspapers and magazines to stay up-to-date with current events. Reading helps me to understand different writing styles and learn new expressions. It also exposes me to a wide range of vocabulary and grammar structures.
What kinds of books do you read for pleasure? Why/Why not?
I love reading fiction, especially historical fiction and fantasy. I find that these genres allow me to escape into different worlds and experience different perspectives. Historical fiction is particularly interesting because it helps me understand the past and learn about different cultures. Fantasy books are great for sparking my imagination and taking me on adventures to far-off lands. I also enjoy reading mystery and thriller novels because they keep me on the edge of my seat and make me think.
Do you prefer to read a newspaper or a magazine online, or to buy a copy? Why?
I generally prefer to read newspapers and magazines online. It's more convenient and I can access a wider variety of publications from around the world. Plus, I like being able to search for specific articles or topics that interest me. However, there's something satisfying about holding a physical copy of a newspaper or magazine, especially when it's a special edition or a collector's item.
