1. Did you enjoy cakes and sweets when you were a child? (Why/ Why not?) 

   As a kid, I actually wasn't much of a sweet tooth. While most children were crazy about cakes and candies, I had different tastes. I was more into savory, and spicy foods like a big bag of chips. It's funny how everyone assumes all kids love sweet food. And I don’t know why I normally feel tired after consuming food that contains sugar.

2. Have you ever made a cake yourself? (Why/Why not?) 

Yes, I've tried baking a cake myself, but unfortunately  it didn't go as planned. It was supposed to be a cake, but it turned into what I like to call a 'giant cookie.' It was a hilarious baking mishap, but it was still delicious in its own way. It was a fun experiment in the kitchen, even if it didn't turn out perfectly.

3. On what occasions do people in your culture eat special cakes or other sweet food? (Why?)

   Oh, Mứt during our Tet holiday. It is a traditional Vietnamese sugar-coated fruit or vegetable snack, and it holds a deeper cultural significance. You've got everything from ginger, coconut, and lotus seeds to the more unique ones like winter melon and sweet potato.  You can see during Lunar New Year, homes are often filled with beautiful jars of colorful mứt, and it's a joyous sight to see families and friends gather around, sharing stories and enjoying these sweets.

3. Do you enjoy eating something sweet at the end of a meal? (Why/Why not?)

   Oh, I do enjoy a bit of sweet fruits at the end of a meal, but just a small portion. Opting for fruits is great because they're not just tasty but also healthy. They provide a natural sweetness that satisfies the dessert craving without being too heavy.
