Work or study

Do you like your job? What do you like most?

Like my job? I don't think anyone would like to go to work, unless you’re a workaholic of course. Personally, I tolerate my job. It pays me well enough to fund my hobbies. Does that count? Liking my job only because I get paid? To me, it has always been about money. Things like good working conditions, friendly colleagues are optional at this point. Of course, it is always welcomed to portray yourself as a good and reliable coworker and earn some brownie points here and there but doing so drains me out quite a lot.

Would you change your job in the future?

I’m not so sure. I mean I'm barely scraping by with my current job, so much so that the aspect of finding another one this early in my career is something I try to avoid mentioning or talking about. I’m still searching for my perfect job even to this day. I may vividly realise what I want and don’t want but I need some extra time to test out my theory.

Do you like work from home?

Honestly, who wouldn’t? I’m pretty sure the pandemic from 2019 has proven how ineffective it was for companies to own an actual office. People can work just as fine from home as they are in the office. However, I do understand that it may lead to some…trust issues. There have been a plethora of stories on social media regarding people sneaking out of work and just bringing their phone with them to pretend that they’re still present in the meeting. It’s hard to perfectly balance this but I would take the offer to work from home in a heartbeat.

Bicycles

Did you ride bikes when you were a child?

I did. I actually had to travel back and forth for a good chunk of my life before my family decided to upgrade me to motorbike. But it was such a memorable part of my life. You know how many accidents I could have gotten myself into because of my foul driving habit? Oh and we can’t not mention how I constantly listen to music while riding a bike.

Is it popular in your country? Will it be more popular in the future?

You would have thought that people would move onto better vehicles like a motorcycle at least. But no. I’ve seen people driving around in their cars that are fueled by electricity but everywhere I look, left or right, there are at least 3 people cycling. I don't think it will be more popular, per se. More like it’s already peaked so it can't get any better from here on out.

Perfume

Do you like perfume? Do you wear it a lot?

The idea of perfume is…relatively good. But I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I hate it and I associate perfume with unhappy thoughts. Imagine going into a large but confined room that can hold up to 200 people at least and half of them have different scents for their perfume. Those smells will combine into a concoction of nightmare. I can barely breathe. So, I think you know the answer for the second question based on that story. I’m scared of overdoing it, spraying myself with perfume and ended up making the people next to me feel nauseous. I would rather have no scent on me at all.

Do you have a favorite perfume?

If you insist on picking one, then I would probably say Lush Cherry Blossom from the 2018 collection from an indie brand whose name remains unknown to this day for me, mainly because I forgot their brand’s name. However, that perfume was strong but not in an awful, pungent smell. The scent is light but just enough to let other people near me know that I'm wearing perfume. Sadly, that brand ceased to exist and I have yet to find a good alternative to this day.

Do you often gift perfume?

No. Absolutely not. Even to my closest friend, I refrain from buying them anything along the line of scent and perfume for a litany of reasons. First of all, I have to know what scent they want, down to a tee, or else I would just make a fool out of myself and give them something they wont even gonna use. Secondly, this is from my perspective only but a lot of people i know are not aware of the fact that their skin is extra-sensitive. Having an alcohol-infused product would only make their conditions worsen. Therefore, I don’t think I'm going to give out perfume as a gift any time soon.
