Have you travelled a lot by plane?

I have gone to a few provinces in the South of Vietnam, which did require flying by plane. I believe the most recent time was around 2 years ago when I was having a vacation in Da Nang with my friends.

Why do you think some people enjoy travelling by plane?

It is obviously the fastest method of transport, so people may like flying because it saves them precious time. For instance, a domestic flight in Vietnam only lasts around 2 to 3 hours, while the same distance has to be covered over a few days when travelling by bus or train. Another added bonus for the few who can afford it is that airports and aircrafts usually provide better quality of service and a wider arrange of food and drinks, which is ideal for long trips.

Would you like to live near an airport?

Absolutely not. With someone who rarely ever travels, the benefit of getting to the airport in a shorter amount of time would never outweigh the overwhelming sounds that planes create when taking off or landing. I don’t want to be woken up by those deafening sounds.

In the future, do you think that you will travel by plane more often?

Of course. As much as I dislike the hassle of queuing up at the airport and boarding the plane, I don’t suppose that I have another choice if I want to travel somewhere far away. If I can, I will buy a business or first class ticket so that I don’t have to deal with those nuisances.
