The given maps depict the current layout of an industrial plant and propose future changes to it. Overall, the industrial site is expected to undergo a great number of alterations, regarding both the functions and the buildings.

As illustrated, all the factories are centered in the middle of the area, and they are constructed along both sides of the road. There is a large roundabout to connect this road with another one to the south of the map. Adjacent to the industrial plant is a town in the west and a farmland area in the north, which is separated by a river. 

In terms of future changes, the initial industrial zone is going to be replaced by a residential area, which means the complete disappearance of all the factories. Instead, several housing blocks are expected to be built, in addition to new functional and entertainment buildings. The road system will also undergo certain modifications, including a smaller roundabout at the bottom and an expansion to the other side of the river, which leads to a large housing area.
